Telemark Skiing Sessions at Chill Factore
Club Meets take place at Chill Factore on Sundays at 12‑2.00pm for Telemark skiing on the Main slope. Check the Events page for the latest dates.
These generally occur every 2 or 3 weeks and cost £24.00 for a member’s discounted* 2 hour lift pass (or use your weekly or monthly pass). Pre‑booking online (see below) with Chill Factore is strongly recommended to avoid queues at Guest Services. Lift passes may be printed & collected at the 8 new Fast Track ticketing stations.
Snowsport England and BASI Telemark coaches will be available on the booked dates for coaching and support on the main slope.
Introduction to Telemark sessions are also run ‐ please email telemark@mccsc.org.uk before coming. Participants must have Alpine ski experience and be able to make turns and control speed from the top of the main slope.
HIRE EQUIPMENT is inclusive of entry cost at Chill Factore.
The range of Telemark rental is limited, so we are unable to guarantee having the correct size. Please bring your own Telemark kit if you have it.
There are a few New Telemark Norm Scarpa boots and Head Rev 78 skis fitted with Rottefella NTN releasable, semi step-in bindings. There are also a few older Telemark Norm 75mm Crispi boots and Salomon skis, fitted with 7TM bindings.
Allow 15-30 minutes for fitting.
Catch up afterwards with friends over a drink or a meal in the brand new "The Lodge" situated upstairs at Chill Factore. There are 2 connected rooms, with tables and 3 sofa areas. Look for the sign on the table.

– * This discount only applies to our club coaching sessions, not general lift passes.
– An appropriate helmet must be worn when attending this event. See Helmet Policy.
– Although Covid-19 restrictions have been removed at the time of writing. Please check the latest applicable restrictions.
Booking MCCSC Telemark Session on Chill Factore Website
Use MCCSC Direct Chill Factore link or Select Lift Passes link at top of Chill Factore website.
This will display a Book Now panel similar to below
– Check/Set "Choose Activity or Product" items as shown above.
– Select numbers of "Adult" / "Junior" as required.
– Set "Choose Date" to required session date (optional, you can pick this later).
– Select Continue.
– Select "Show Next Available" if session date was not selected
The session closest to the selected date will be displayed in panel similar to below.
– (If necessary) use "Earlier dates" and "Later dates" to navigate to session date required.
– Select required session (It will be highlighted and "Select time" will change to "Continue")
Select Continue.
This will take you to Shopping Basket. Following on screen instructions to purchase your pass.
